The FOAMSCAN has a flexible design in order to cope with the different needs of the users. The different options already proposed are :

 

ABOUT THE FORMATION OF THE FOAMS

In addition to the bubbling process as discribed above two news process for creating foam is propose :

  • by stirring the liquid sample (see the description in the NEWS),

  • by recirculation of the liquid sample (liquid jet thrown on the surface of the liquid sample : THE JETSCAN ).

ABOUT THE STABILITY OF THE FOAMS

This option consists in sprinkling the top of the foam column with a liquid (with or without antifoaming agents). It makes it possible to measure the influence of the spraying on the stability of the foam.
